PSL 2020: The two-step category renewal, comprised of representatives from all six franchises, is complete.Pakistan Twenty20 captains Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Imad Wasim added 14 other local stars to the platinum category.
The Diamond category list includes Imam ul Haq, Harris Sohail and Asif Ali

HBL PSL local players category renewed for Season

The HBL Pakistan Super League will once again offer the best talent of Pakistan cricket as new categories of local players taking part in the HBLPSL 2019 season have been finalized.Babar Azam, captain of Pakistan T20, heads the Platinum category. Teammates Shaheen Shah Afridi, Emad Wasim, Hassan Ali (leading wicket-taker in HBLPSL 2019) and Shadab Khan have graduated in the platinum category for the HBLPSL 2020 season.
The completion of the renewal process has also begun recruiting players for next season (HBL PSL 2020).
As part of the category renewal process, representatives from each of the six franchises voted for the local player category. Franchise representatives were not allowed to vote for their players. At the end of the process, the teams had the right to submit review requests.
Then the Head of Player Acquisition and Management Imran Ahmed Khan and National Selection Coordinator Nadeem Khan reviewed the final list based on the process.
PCB chief government Waseem Khan said: we’ve reached a very important milestone when the completion of the class renewal for the consequent season of the HBL Asian country Super League. Let’s get closer and closer to the season which will be really historic as all 34 matches will be played in Pakistan.

HBLPSL 2020:
has become the most wanted in the world after the Twenty20 league, the next edition will be even bigger and better, I am sure that top-class cricket with world-class, league fans of Pakistan and all over the world. High facilities and high quality broadcast at the stadium since the Tournament began in February 2020.Meanwhile, various factors such as HBLPSL 2020 Performances, national team performances, domestic performances and perceived T20 brand value length were considered as part of the two-fi player category renewal process.
A base of gold was assigned to all the people of colour of Pakistan. According to this year’s draft rules, each team is allowed to retain eight players from last year’s roster.
Under-23 players who could not be part of the Emerging Category have already been invited to the Pakistan team. In addition, U23 players cannot be part of a squad as an emerging player for more than two years unless they play three or fewer matches in those two years.
The players reserve the right to request float releases before finalizing appointments to teams. Upon approval of the application, all other teams will be provided with an opportunity to meet the base category of the player. If a team does not match the basic category of the player, the player will be categorized below that base category.
